Chi-Town

That's a burning car behind me. Not really unique to Chicago, but I wanted a picture and it was a convenient and (at the time) exciting backdrop. What you can't see or feel in this picture is how incredibly cold the city is during the winter.

We stayed in the Tokyo Hotel the first night. Let this radiator represent the overall quality of the Tokyo Hotel.

Then we stayed in Todd's friend's empty studio apartment. Quite a bit nicer than the Tokyo Hotel. That's Todd in the picture. Click here for more pictures (read the captions under the pictures). Signed, Bzach

Christmas

Tami prepared a lovely Christmas celebration/meal for Todd, Joe & his family, and me. As you can see, and as David points out, our family likes taking pictures of food. Click here to view more pictures; they aren't all food pictures either.

Rachel, Natalie (Rachel's cousin) and I helped Tami make Karjalanpiirakka. Made me feel like a Finnish boy

And here's a sideways video

Greetings

Here's what I'm doing with myself:

In case you didn't already know, I'm studying psychology. I plan on "going all the way" with it (that means getting a doctorate so I can practice). I'll have my bachelor's degree next December. Seven years of schooling (at least) after that and I'll actually be making money. But hey, I'm excited/I feel good about my education and career plans.

I'm also playing a lot of music with my amigos. Our band got second place in the Muse Music battle of the bands this November (that's me on the drums). Twenty groups played. Listen to us at myspace.com/weldednotes.

And I have a band with Emily Fox. We play a lot together...mostly David Archuleta covers:) She's getting her MFA at the BYU, so that means she's my "in" with the art community. I/we have recorded some killer tunes, and we have a seven song EP we will be distributing shortly. Stay tuned for that sweet little number. Czech aut myspace.com/brianandelin to hear some good songs now if you'd like.
